MHA Macintyre Hudson
The accountancy firm has announced the appointment of Matt Coward as a tax partner in its London City office. Coward is a chartered tax adviser and member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners. He joins from Price Bailey, where he was a private client tax partner.
DAC Beachcroft
The law firm has made two appointments to its London commercial real estate team. Paul Hicks joins as a partner from Davenport Lyons. He acts for retailers, restaurateurs, developers and investors in London and the UK. Angharad Davies joins as an associate from Davenport Lyons.
Aon Hewitt
Jon Bryant has joined the human resources solutions firm as area director for its London consulting teams. He has over 15 years’ experience in pensions and employee benefits. Bryant previously spent seven years at JLT, where he was most recently an executive director in its employee benefits division. Prior to that, he held roles at Unum.
Zurich
The insurance company has appointed Cecile Fresneau as chief underwriting officer for its UK general insurance division. She joined Zurich’s Switzerland office in 2011 from Insurance Australia Group.
Candriam Investors Group
Herve Bruneteaux has been appointed global head of human resources at the multi-specialist asset management firm. He has almost 20 years’ experience in HR and joins from Carmignac Gestion, where he was an HR director. Before that, Bruneteaux held roles at Beiersdorf Group, Kronenbourg/Scottish & Newcastle and L’Oreal.
Pinsent Masons
The law firm has hired Nicholle Kingsley to its planning team. She specialises in the commercial real estate, housing, retail and hotels markets. Kingsley was most recently at Herbert Smith Freehills, where she was a senior associate.
Willis
The global risk adviser and insurance broker has announced the appointment of David Martin as chief executive of its UK business. Prior to joining in 2013, Martin led global sales and distribution for Zurich’s general insurance business. Before that, he was managing director of UK corporate at Aon.
