Investec
Jane Warren has been appointed head of digital in the UK in Investec’s wealth management and investment services business. She started her career in financial services in 1987, and joined the Investec Group (then Carr Sheppards Crosthwaite) in 1994. Warren has subsequently served as head of CSC’s third party administration business, and head of business projects, where she led the integration of Rensburg Sheppards and Williams de Broe.
Intelligent Energy
The energy technology group has appointed Garrett Forde as chief operating officer. He was most recently managing partner at Axisto Consulting, and has also held a variety of senior positions at Royal Philips Electronics.
Tilney Bestinvest
The financial planning and investment advisory firm has announced the appointment of Suki Copeland as group human resources (HR) director. She joins from Charles Stanley, where she led its HR function for four years. Copeland has also worked as head of HR at Liberty Mutual Insurance Group, and has held HR roles at Herbert Smith and Allen & Overy.
JAMS International
Andrew Aglionby has joined the mediation and arbitration provider as a full-time arbitrator and mediator, serving on panels in London and New York. He was previously head of arbitration at Olswang, and has also served as a partner, Asia Pacific head of international arbitration and head of construction at Baker & McKenzie.
Oppenheimer Europe
The investment bank has announced the appointment of Ian Wade as managing director, European head of telecoms investment banking. He has 15 years’ experience in the European telecoms market, and joins from ING’s telecom investment banking team.
Seedrs
The crowdfunding platform has announced two appointments to its advisory board. Dave Morin is chief executive and co-founder of Path, a social networking site. He previously worked at Facebook, where he co-created Facebook Platform and Facebook Connect, and Apple. Logan Green is chief executive and co-founder of Lyft, the on demand ride-sharing site.
DCC
The business services firm has appointed David Juke as a non-executive director. He is currently president of Univar Europe, Middle East and Africa, a chemistry products and services distribution firm.
