Children in Need 2015: Will the money raised this year mean Pudsey’s in for a record-breaking night?
Children in Need might be a man down (and not just any man – Terry Wogan himself) but this year's fundraising marathon promises to be yet another huge event, with stars lining up to take part in tonight's live show.
Tess Daly, Fearne Cotton, Rochelle Humes and Nick Grimshaw will be taking it in turns to host, alongside Dermot O'Leary and Shane Richie, who have stepped in to cover Wogan at the last minute.
This will be the first time he has not been the frontman since Children in Need started in 1980.
Sir Bruce Forsyth will be making a return to the screen with a special Strictly, while Harry Hill jumps channels to give a whirlwind history of TV.
Rod Stewart will take the stage to perform his new single, as well as singer Ellie Goulding and pop star Selena Gomez.
Ex-Westlife singer Shane Filan will be joining forces with former X Factor judge Louis Walsh in a new band called HomeTown, which will be performing tonight.
But will it be enough to draw in the viewers and get them reaching for the phone to make enough donations to top previous years?
Last year, the total raised during the Children in Need extravaganza actually went down, but in general the trajectory has been strongly up, so the pressure is on. Can Pudsey and co deliver a record-breaking night without Wogan for the first time in 35 years?
Here's what they have to beat to do it.
How much has Children in Need raised each year since it started?
