Celebrating 10 years of City A.M. with drinks at the Guildhall
To the Guildhall in the heart of the City, and its magnificent Old Library, where some of the biggest names in finance, business, politics and media celebrated the 10th anniversary of City A.M.
The Lord Mayor, Alan Yarrow, welcomed over 500 guests and praised the tenacity of the paper’s founders.
Cabinet Office minister Matt Hancock delivered a rousing speech in celebration of the paper’s founding values of free markets, economic liberty and a belief in the benefits of competition and innovation.
Founders Lawson Muncaster and Jens Torpe thanked the paper’s staff, readers and supporters for “a wonderful 10 years” and reaffirmed the paper's commitment to London and the people who live and work “in the greatest city in the world.”
