Cath Kidston to review UK store locations in bid for higher footfall
Fashion retailer Cath Kidston is reviewing the locations of its UK stores as it looks to move to destinations that attract higher footfall.
The brand, which has 65 stores across the UK including pop-ups and concessions, is reviewing individual branches as leases come up for renewal at which point it will consider whether to relocate the store to a more attractive shopping destination.

A branch was recently shut down in Westfield Stratford but will be relocated to a new space at the Westfield development in White City. A new store will also open in Greenwich as part of the O2's outlet shopping destination.
Cath Kidston, which is known for its vintage-style floral prints, closed stores in Bath and Chester earlier this year.
A Cath Kidston spokesperson said: "Like all smart retailers, we are always reviewing our UK store network to ensure our shops are in the best locations.
"The UK remains our largest market both in terms of sales and store numbers.
"We are not looking to radically increase or decrease the number of stores we have in the UK, however, we will continue to close and open new stores to ensure we have the best estate possible to meet our customers' needs and shopping patterns."
The strategy comes as a number of well-known brands including New Look, Marks & Spencer and Debenhams downsize physical store space as the high street struggles with low wages, higher business rates and the rise in online shopping.
