Canary Wharfers’ favourite dating app is taking a leaf out of Grindr’s book
Keep your eyes peeled for covert meet-ups in Canary Wharf this week.
Dating app Happn, hugely popular with suited workers in the Docklands, has unveiled a new feature called "See You There".
The app, which lets singletons connect with people they’ve crossed paths with in real life, has launched the feature to actively encourage more meet-ups between users.

The feature replicates a similar tool on Grindr, the world's largest gay social networking app infamous for its power to promote covert meet-ups between complete strangers who tickle their fancy.
Last year we found out that those working in Canary Wharf have the best chance of finding a date using Happn, as app users pass through the financial district's tube station more tan anywhere else in London
A statement from Happn tells us that singletons will now be able to share on their profile that "they are up for doing a particular activity for the next few hours".
Didier Rappaport, CEO and founder of Happn, said: "As society evolves and becomes more mobile, the dating industry has transformed to focus on encounters, pushing dating apps to become more social in their offering."
"Our new "See You There" feature is an extension of this, enabling people to meet like-minded individuals by encouraging them to go offline and share an activity they are both interested in."

It seems ignorance is bliss for the tech firm, who suggest that users would have more noble reasons for using the new feature, "whether that’s grabbing a bite to eat, going for a run, or catching a movie"
Is that what they're calling it these days?
