Can London compete with Silicon Valley?

Not really. The concentration is too much on mobile app developers rather than Silicon Valley, where there is a history of fledgling technologies being developed from the ground up.

We’re a way off Silicon Valley in terms of numbers but we’ve got the brainpower and the type of people that could help create that. We need as many good ideas and new routes to market as we can get.

I don’t see any reason why not. London is the key business centre in the UK. I don’t know whether [Silicon Valley] is just a big hype or actually is the place to be – I think I’d stay here.
