Never one to shy away from jumping on a bandwagon, our very own Prime Minister has certainly proved himself to be quite the fan of the selfie in recent months.
Yesterday’s photo op with Obama and the Danish PM may have revealed Cameron’s new hobby to the entire world, but Dave’s got form.
Recent victims include Alibaba chairman Jack Ma (who admittedly did take the snap that Cameron proudly tweeted), and Olympic volunteers – captured by a passing photographer in a bizarre selfie-once-removed that caught the PM wielding his BlackBerry from afar.
Of course no one is claiming Cameron started the craze – or even that he and his powerful companions were the first to take it to the next level at Mandela’s memorial yesterday.

The Obama/Cameron/Thorning-Schmidt pic now takes pride of place at the top of the blog. “Obama has taken a funeral selfie, so our work here is done,” it says triumphantly.
If selfies are our new naval gazing addiction, it looks like even global leaders are finding them hard to kick.
The Capitalist just can’t wait to see who Cameron – or Miliband, Clegg and Obama for that matter – decide to cosy up to next…
