Burst water main causes travel disruption at London Victoria
A burst water main at Victoria train station was causing disruption this morning, affecting Southern Rail and Gatwick Express services.
The incident, which is causing flooding in part of the major London station, has forced authorities to shut platform 13 during one of the busiest times of day.
Network Rail warned that it was causing delays and cancellations to a number of services, both entering and exiting Victoria. Disruption is expected to last until at least 9:30am.
Services including the 8:30am London Victoria to Brighton route and the 9:14 to Gatwick have been cancelled because of the flooding.
Engineers are onsite attempting to resolve the problem now, it added.
