Burgers, burritos and pulled pork: This interactive shows London’s favourite Insta-food
Burgers might have been born in the USA, but it's in London that they are really hitting the spot.
It might be the rise of the so-called dirty burger, but Londoners share more pictures of this humble fast food than anywhere else in the world – including New York and LA.
The capital has also developed something of a pulled pork habit: 7.5 per cent of all hashtagged #pulledpork pictures on Instagram came from London.
And while you might think a bacon buttie is the breakfast of champions, it's New York where they are keen as mustard. They accounted for eight per cent of all tags.
But what about curry, supposedly Britain's favourite food? London doesn't even come close to Tokyo, where 10 per cent of all #curry pictures are sent from. No Indian cities even make the top five.
Currywurst, however, sticks to stereotype: all top five cities are in Germany, with nearly 40 per cent sent from Berlin alone.
Check out this awesome interactive below to find out which cities are chomping down on jerk chicken and which are bolting burritos.
