Brussels attack: Travel disruption will continue as Brussels’ Zaventem Airport to remain closed until Saturday
Brussels' Zaventem Airport is set to remain closed on Friday, it's been reported by the Belga News Agency as the operation to secure the airport continues.
Attacks on the airport yesterday left as many as 11 people dead after two explosions. One British national is among those injured.
The Maalbeek metro station was also targeted, killing 20 others. A total 260 people were wounded in the attacks.
Brothers Khalid and Brahim el-Bakraoui, both Belgian nationals, have been named as two of the suicide bombers who carried out the attacks, while police still hunting another man seen in airport CCTV images.
Islamic State (IS) has claimed responsibility for the attacks.
Other parts of Brussels are still in dissary following the attacks with travel heavily disrupted for many.
Brussels South Charleroi Airport has increased security, along with long waiting times on the city's metro.
