Broncos set for administration
THE FUTURE of Super League side London Broncos was plunged into doubt last night after confirming their intention to appoint an administrator.
The Broncos, who have competed in every Super League season since its inception in 1996, are homeless, following their decision to leave Twickenham Stoop, and have just five players in their current squad.
The club are hopeful of resolving their future at meetings with the Rugby Football League to be held over the next 10 working days.
The new Super League season is set to start in February, with Broncos scheduled to travel to Widnes Vikings on 16 February, before a home match with Salford Red Devils the following weekend.
