British Land wins second tenant at London’s Marble Arch House
BRITISH Land said yesterday it has secured its second letting at Marble Arch House in the West End after signing a deal with an industrials group owned by the Ukrainian-born US tycoon Len Blavatnik.
Access Industries, which also operates from New York and Moscow, has signed a ten-year lease for all 4,500 square feet on the sixth floor of the building, which was completed earlier this year.
The deal comes after Fulcrum Asset Management, the hedge fund group founded by former BBC chairman Gavyn Davies, signed a 10-year lease for the fifth floor at £78.50 per sq ft in May.
British Land began work on Marble Arch House after buying the building from Portman Estates in 2011. The site has 15,000 sq ft of retail space as well as 10 luxury flats nearby on 62-64 Seymour Street.
CBRE and Cushman & Wakefield advised British Land.
