The Brexit concert is back on (sort of), as Leave.EU plans a referendum party
"The show must go on", is the Leave.EU mantra.
Does your idea of a great night out involve watching the news with an Elvis impersonator in a Brexit-themed all-nighter?
The Capitalist has been cordially invited to Leave.EU's referendum party on 23 June. Campaigners from the UKIP-backed group promise an all-night celebration of euroscepticism on a rooftop bar in Westminster.

And good news for those who missed out on the ill-fated Brexit concert Bpoplive after Leave.EU reached a standoff with the Electoral Commission on campaign spending and had to cancel it – a few of the acts that had confirmed to play at the gig (including 3/4 of Eurovision Song Contest winners Bucks Fizz and an Elvis impersonator).
In spite of failing to organise a knees-up in Birmingham's Genting Arena and axing the event last week, Brexiting campaigners seem pretty confident ahead of the vote on Thursday. Leave.EU's Brian Monteith told The Capitalist that there were plans to turn the festival into a post-referendum party "to celebrate our winning – as we do believe we can and will win next Thursday".
Starting from 8:30pm and ending at 6am, guests are being promised a big screen to watch the results from the vote as they come in along with "music, dancing, food and drinks".
But will everything run smoothly? Since acts including singers Alesha Dixon and Ella Eyre, boybands 5ive and East 17, soul group Sister Sledge and drum and bass duo Sigma pulled out of pro-Brexit festival Bpoplive this year after learning who was bankrolling the event, Leave.EU hasn't got a great reputation for organising a party.
