Bresnan calls on England to remain patient
ENGLAND bowler Tim Bresnan feels patience will be the key to winning the third Test.
Australia enjoyed their best day at the crease in the Ashes series, taking advantage of a slow, dry pitch to close on 303-3.
However Bresnan, who took the wicket of Shane Watson (19) in the morning session, believes England must maintain persistence.
“You’ve got to be very patient and keep plugging away, we’ve gone past the edge a few times,” said Bresnan, who retained his place in the team ahead of spinner Monty Panesar.
“That’s just how the game goes. It’s always tough when the wicket plays like that and the sun’s out, but the Aussies played really well.”
