UK-bound Ryanair flight evacuated in Oslo after bomb hoax
A Ryanair flight which was supposed to be heading for the United Kingdom has been evacuated in Oslo following after a bomb hoax.
Ryanair flight 3225 from Oslo Rygge to Manchester airport was scheduled to depart at 6.55pm local time and arrive in Manchester at 7.55pm, but after concerns were raised, the flight was evacuated after boarding and two passengers were detained by police.
Ryanair said the plane was evacuated because of a "hoax security alert".
Witnesses said they overhead an argument between two people in the toilet and the use of the word "bomb". The captain ordered the plane to be evacuated and the police took the two passengers into custody.

The incident happened just hours after Old Trafford was evacuated just before Manchester United's final Premier League game of the season. Police carried out a controlled explosion of a suspect package which they reported looked to be a "lifelike" device but was said to be not "viable".
According to the official Oslo Rygge Airport website, Flight 3225 is now scheduled to depart at 00:15am local time.
Oslo Rygge is a low-cost, relatively small airport, located 60km to the south of Norway's capital city.
