Bournemouth set to splash out £8m for defender Mings
Premier League newcomers Bournemouth are set to shell out a club record £8m to lure defender Tyrone Mings to the Goldsands Stadium from Ipswich Town.
The 22-year-old, who can operate at left-back or centre-half, made 44 appearances for Ipswich last season. The Tractor Boys paid £10,000 to non-league side Chippenham Town for Mings in 2012.

A fee of £8m would smash Bournemouth’s current transfer record of £3m, which the Cherries paid for Coventry striker Callum Wilson in 2014.
Everton, meanwhile, have re-signed Barcelona forward Gerard Deulofeu after agreeing a £4.3m fee for the one-cap Spain international. The 21-year-old was on loan at Goodison Park during the 2013-14 campaign.
England right-back Nathaniel Clyne is set to become Liverpool’s sixth signing of the summer after the Anfield club agreed a £12.5m deal with Southampton for the former Crystal Palace defender.
