Boris Johnson, Nicola Sturgeon and Angela Eagle: The big hitters lined up for Thursday’s EU debate
ITV has confirmed the line-up for its debate on the EU referendum this week, with spots for former London mayor Boris Johnson, SNP leader Nicola Sturgeon two Conservative ministers.
Johnson will line up alongside energy minister Andrea Leadsom and Labour's Gisela Stuart.
The trio will face Sturgeon, energy secretary – and Leadsom's boss – Amber Rudd, and Labour's shadow business secretary Angela Eagle.
The two hour debate will be chaired by ITV News' Julie Etchingham, and see each politician make short opening and closing statements at the beginning and the end of the programme.
It will follow tomorrow night's with Prime Minister David Cameron and Ukip leader Nigel Farage.
The hour long Tuesday session will see Farage and Cameron answer questions from a studio audience, with Farage first, followed by Cameron.
