Battle of the brands: Addison Lee tops list of most London-centric brands
Taxi firms, shopping centres and local radio stations are among the brands which are most well known only to those living in the capital, a new study has found.
Addison Lee topped Yougov's index of the most London-centric brands, with 83 per cent of Londoners knowing about the taxi hire firm compared with 29 per cent of those outside of the capital.

Meanwhile, shopping mall brand Westfield came in second, with 93 per cent of Londoners being aware of it compared to just 41 per cent of those not in London.
In third-placed was local TV station London Live, while City A.M. came in fourth.

Of the top 10 brands, only fast food outlets Itsu, Chicken Cottage, car rental portal Easycar and radio station LBC have a substantial presence outside of London (in terms of store locations, availability and listenership, respectively).
