Barcelona forecast €600m income from treble-winning season
Barcelona expect the income from their treble-winning season to reach €600m (£440.3m), president Josep Maria Bartomeu revealed today.
In a press conference, Bartomeu heralded the club's head coach Luis Enrique's triumphs in La Liga, the Copa del Rey and the Champions League in his first year in the role and announced he would be extending the former player's contract.

In the season before last, the Catalans unveiled record annual revenue of €530m, despite finishing the campaign without adding to the trophy cabinet.
Yet following a season which will guarantee at least €15m in prize money, Bartomeu is forecasting the club's revenue to grow by roughly 13 per cent.
Following the conference, in which he also revealed a new contract for defender Dani Alves, Bartomeu resigned from his role in order to formally start the club's next presidential election campaign, promised back in January when tensions at the club were described as "excessive".
