BA hit by more crew strikes
BRITISH Airways crew are to launch another strike after talks between the airline and union Unite broke down.
Cabin crew are expected to cause disruptions during four separate periods, which will affect half-term and bank holiday passengers.
BA staff will strike on the following dates: 18-22 May, 24-28 May, 30 May- 3 June and 5-9 June.
BA said: “This decision has no semblance of justification. Unite’s officials continue to operate in their own world, showing callous disregard for our customers and their own members in all parts of our airline.”
Unite said that BA staff were left with no other option but to take further strike action. The union warned that cabin crew will also be balloted over BA’s conduct during the strike.
