Asos to appoint Ocado boss to board as it plots leadership shake-up
Asos is set to announce a raft of new boardroom appointments as it looks to rebuild investor confidence after a series of profit warnings.
The online retailer will tomorrow announce several new non-executive directors, including Luke Jensen, the chief executive of Ocado’s tech solutions arm, Sky News reported.

The boardroom overhaul will be ushered in by Adam Crozier, who took over as the company’s chairman in April.
Asos will be hoping the appointments will breathe new life into the business after a torrid period of trading.
In July the company issued a profit warning, which it blamed on tech and infrastructure upgrades in the US and Europe.
It followed a stark profit warning in December last year, when a slump in pre-Christmas trading sent shares down 40 per cent.
Jensen’s appointment is understood to reflect Crozier’s aim to beef up the international retailing experience on Asos’s board.
At least one of the new non-executives comes from the US, highlighting the retailer’s focus on that market, according to the report.
Asos chief executive Nick Beighton is also said to be lining up changes to his management team, with a number of appointments in the pipeline.

The slate of new board members means existing non-executive directors are likely to step down, one source told Sky News, although this is not thought to include co-founder Nick Robertson.
Asos has been contacted for comment.
