Arsenal charged with allegedly breaching FA agents regulatons in Calum Chambers transfer from Southampton
Arsenal have been formally charged by the FA for allegedly breaching the FA's football agents regulations.
The club has until 26 June to respond to the charge which relates to the signing of defender Calum Chambers from Southampton on July 26 last summer.
Agent Alan Middleton has also been charged and will have until next Wednesday to respond.

An independent regulation commission will rule on the charges. Last year Wigan were fined £40,000 by the FA for breaching agents regulations in the signing of Marc-Antoine Fortune.
The charge will relate to the FA's previous agents regulations, which ceased to exist this April to be replaced by the new rules in accordance with Fifa's regulations on working with intermediaries.
The Association of Football Agents challenged the intermediaries regulation at the European Commission, saying it was contrary to European law.
