Apple has unveiled a new iPad Pro – a smaller screened version of the monster-size (ok, 12.9 inches) Pro which debuted last year.
It brings features such as a light-adjusting screen, a smart keyboard connection and greater processing power from the original Pro to a smaller screen.
According to Apple, more than 200m older 9.7 inch iPad models, such as the iPad Air models, have been sold to date.
"Customers have fallen in love with the iPad Pro," said Apple executive Phil Schiller, at the launch event, where a new iPhone SE and Apple Watch bands were also revealed.
"It is the ultimate upgrade for existing iPad users and replacement for PC users.”
It will be available in a rose gold colour, the first time the colour has been made available on iPads, and will start from $599 (£499). Pre-orders will start on 24 March with customers getting hold of them on 31 March, including the UK.
It will be available on EE, Vodafone and O2 mobile networks.

– A 25 per cent brighter screen
– A 40 per cent less reflective screen
– A screen which adjusts itself to different lighting
– Four speakers
– A smart keyboard
– 6.1mm thin
