New Apple UK iPhone 6S, iPad Pro, iOS 9 release date 2015 and price: When are they coming and how much will they cost?
After weeks of feverish speculation, yesterday’s Apple launch finally gave us all the answers about what the company’s been working on. As usual, the tech giant itself was giving nothing away ahead of time, announcing the event with nothing more than the date and the cryptic clue “Hey, Siri, give us a hint”.
The news unveiled yesterday includes a larger iPad and a new operating system – although, of course, the new iPhone model was the star of the show, with chief executive Tim Cook praising them as “the most advanced smartphones in the world”.
The big question for UK readers now, of course, is when they will be landing in Britain.
iPhone 6S
The UK is one of just 12 countries to be getting their hands on the new model early. The phone will be available for pre-order by the end of the week, and will be able to buy from 25 September in the UK.
By the end of the year Apple promises that the phone will be available in over 130 countries.

The iPhone 6S will cost £539 for the 16GB model, £619 for the 64GB or £699 for the largest 128GB model.
iPad Pro
The exact date has yet to be specified, but it’s about two months away. Apple said that the iPad would be available to buy sometime in November. It’s going to cost between £519 for a smaller 32GB model up to £699 for a 128GB model.
