The property firm has appointed Jason Winfield as UK national head of investment agency.
Winfield has been a director at the firm for seven years and was previously head of its London and South East business space team.
He has recently been tasked with developing a stapled debt product initially pioneered for the £600m Dawnay Day portfolio, advising on Hammerson’s purchase of Silverburn – the largest shopping centre transaction of 2009.
Bank of America Merrill Lynch
The investment bank has named Rob Firth as head of the financial sponsors group for Europe, the Middle East and Africa, effective from August.
Firth was most recently head of EMEA financial sponsors at Deutsche Bank.
Religare Capital Markets
The investment bank, part of Indian financial services giant Religare Enterprises, has appointed Robert Munro as its new global chief operating officer.
Munro joins from UBS, where he was a managing director and European head of prime brokerage. He started his banking career at Goldman Sachs in London in securities lending before moving to Hong Kong in 1994.
Exotix
The frontier markets investment banking boutique has appointed Peter Greca as chief operating officer and hired Peter Lannigan, Rafael Elias-Linero and Marvin Kim to its fixed income team.
Greca was formerly director of operations at Aeneas Capital and a partner, chief operating officer and chief compliance officer at CF Global Trading.
Lannigan joins from Harbert Emerging Markets, a hedge fund he founded in 2005; Elias-Linero was head of international research at Libertas Partners and Kim was an emerging markets market risk manager for Credit Suisse.
