BILL OF THE WEEK
WHEN four Canary Wharf bankers visited the newly opened Boisdale in Cabot Place last week, following in the footsteps of launch guests such as Nancy dell’ Olio, they did full justice to the Scottish restaurant’s specialities. The group started with four plates of seafood before moving on to Scottish steak and vegetables.
And for drinks? Three bottles of finest French red, followed by four large whisky chasers and four fat cigars, including a £34.25 Upmann Sir Winston. Their £1,788 efforts have officially raised the bar for Wednesday lunchtime.
