Millwall set for another chance at play-off final
MILLWALL (2) vs HUDDERSFIELD (0)
Millwall win 2-0 on aggregate
STEVE MORISON netted his 23rd goal of the season to help hand Millwall another crack at the League One play-off final.
Paul Robinson was also on target for the Lions, who will face Swindon at Wembley on 29 May, 12 months after they lost out to Scunthorpe in last season’s final.
Striker Morison, one of the stars of Millwall’s campaign, put them in front from close range in the 23rd minute after goalkeeper Alex Smithies parried a cross into the former Stevenage player’s path.
Scott Barron might have made the tie safe but saw his shot crash against the bar. However Robinson settled the home fans’ nerves when he headed home a Barron corner 10 minutes from time.
