VAUXHALL LAUNCHES GREENEST INSIGNIA TO DATE
Vauxhall has introduced its greenest Insignia model yet. The new ultra-low emissions ecoFLEX diesel Insignia is aimed at commuters and business users and its 2.0 CDTi engine is cleaner than its predecessor. Its CO2 emissions are 115g compared to 129g for the outgoing model.
LEXUS WINS AGAIN FOR CUSTOMER SATISFACTION
For the 11th year running, Lexus has come out top for customer satisfaction. Lexus was named top manufacturer in the J D Power/What Car? UK Vehicle Ownership Satisfaction Study and its IS saloon achieved the highest overall score. Meanwhile, its RX SUV was ranked third overall. This year’s study canvassed the opinions of almost 17,000 UK car owners.
JOHNSON INTRODUCES ELECTRIC CHARGING POINTS
London Mayor Boris Johnson has launched London’s electric vehicle charging scheme called Source London. The scheme is targeted to deliver at least 1,300 public charging points by 2013, as part of Johnson’s plan for London to become the electric vehicle capital of Europe. Members can use any of the charging points for an annual membership of £100.
