Peppa Pig toys to hit US shelves
ENTERTAINMENT One (ETO) has signed a deal with Fisher Price to develop a toy line based on the Peppa Pig animated children’s TV series to sell in the US.
ETO, which owns the distribution rights for the show in the US, said it hoped to replicate the success of Peppa Pig toys in the UK, which generated more than £200m in sales last year.
Chief exective Daniel Throop
said: “This is a great opportunity built on the success of the character in the US, where it is on a major network.
“There is the chance in the US to develop the brand.”
