FASHION TO THE FORE AS THE LADIES CAME OUT TO PLAY AT EPSOM
THE SUN shone and the crowds gathered at Epsom racecourse yesterday so inevitably the Capitalist boarded the 10.30 am out of Waterloo to soak up the atmosphere.
As you would expect on Ladies Day there was an array of well-dressed spectators who headed to the racecourse not just for the racing but for the fun of being there.
The fitness of the Queen’s horse was a topic of conversation, of course, but I’m sure I heard more about the different hats, bags and dresses on show. Not to mention the matching shoes. The pictures on the page reflect some of the fashions on show. I’m sure to be back, even better-dressed, next year.
