Co-operative Bank
The Co-operative Bank has appointed Richard France (left) and Chris Wilson to lead the Corporate and Business Relationship Banking team and the Corporate Banking Specialist Sectors operations respectively. France was previously head of the Bank’s nationwide corporate banking centres and Wilson led the firm’s Commercial Real Estate, Public Sector and Treasury Sales activities.
Osborne Clarke
Tim Simmonds has been hired by Osborne Clarke to develop the company’s investment funds practice. Simmons joins from Berwin Leighton Paisner, where he was the head of the law firm’s funds and financial services regulatory group.
Atlantic Coal
The AIM-listed coal production firm has appointed Barney Corrigan to its management team as project development officer. Most recently, Corrigan was head of BHP Develop at law firm Blackett Hart & Pratt.
Uranium Resources
The AIM-listed uranium exploration firm has appointed Dimitri Pashov as a non-executive director and a representative of its stakeholder Estes. Pashov joins from Eastlink Lanker, where he is general counsel.
Saffron Tax Partners
The boutique tax partnership has appointed Jim Pamphlett as director of personal tax. Pamphlett joins from BDO, where he worked in the firm’s private client operation.
Aviva
Philippe Maso y Guell Rivet, former chief executive of AXA Insurance UK, has been appointed as chief executive of Aviva France, subject to regulatory approval, and also to the position of underwriting, pricing and product director for Aviva Europe.
Barnett Waddingham
The SIPPs provider has appointed Tony Moore to lead the marketing and development of the Barnett Waddingham SIPP. Moore will join from AXA Wealth on 1 July.

The international law firm has appointed Garrett Hayes to strengthen its M&A and private equity practice in the London office. Garrett joins from Macfarlanes.
