Palace face closure threat
CRYSTAL PALACE face liquidation if the consortium trying to buy the stricken Championship club don’t reach an agreement by 3pm this afternoon.
CPFC2010 has been given the deadline by Agilo, the hedge fund that put the club in administration in January.
The consortium of local businessmen, fronted by Eagles’ fans Steve Parish and Martin Long, has even pleaded with Prime Minister David Cameron to help save the club with the Selhurst Park ground on the verge of being sold.
