THE BOOK OF THE DEAD
The British Museum’s new exhibition, Ancient Egyptian Book of the Dead, is one of its most enthralling shows. Papyrus and linen versions of the Book of the Dead – a collection of spells for guiding the dead through the underworld – are displayed along with figurines, jewellery, statues, coffins and other artefacts.
