CITY MOVES WHO’S SWITCHING JOBS
Gresham College
Ken Costa, the chairman of investment bank Lazard, has been hired as the college’s professor of commerce, giving a series of lectures on “Reshaping commerce in the post-crisis world”.
Costa joined Lazard as chairman in 2007 and, prior to that, was vice-chairman of UBS Investment Bank. He is also a member of the advisory council of the London Symphony Orchestra and a trustee of the UK arm of the Nelson Mandela Children’s Fund.
BoA Merrill Lynch
The bank has hired Sanaz Zaimi as head of fixed income, currencies and commodities sales for the EMEA region, as well as head of debt and equity structured product sales.
Zaimi joins early next year from Goldman Sachs, where she was most recently a partner and co-head of structured sales for Europe.
LECG
The finance and economic consultancy has appointed John Biggart, Peter Daniel and Boaz Moselle to its London office.
Biggart joins from Navigant Consulting, where he was a director in the dispute practice. Daniel joins from accountancy firm BDO Stoy Hayward, where he was a partner in the forensic accounting group, while Moselle previously worked for the Brattle Group in Brussels as a principal in regulation.
