Air France-KLM sales plummet

Air France-KLM suffered a 20.5 per cent slump in first-quarter sales, as the economic downturn dented appetite for tourist and freight air travel. Europe’s biggest airline booked revenues of ¤5.19bn (£4.47bn) in the quarter.
