Logica
Seamus Keating, currently Logica’s chief operations and finance officer, has been announced as the firm’s chief executive for the Benelux countries. He will take up his new job as soon as a successor for his role as CFO has been found, replacing Wilbert Kieboom, who has decided to leave the group. Kieboom will, however, stay with Logica until next year for the transition period. Keating is also a non-executive director of Mouchel Group.
Standard Chartered Private Bank
Tim Hinton has been promoted at Standard Chartered Private Bank to regional head of private banking for the UK and Jersey. In this role he will be reporting to Stephen Richards Evans.
Hinton has worked at Standard Chartered for more than 24 years, mostly in wholesale banking. He will contonue to represent the bank in the Business Growth Fund, a new equity fund to be formed by the UK’s largest six banks.
Bank of America Merill Lynch Wealth Management
Tom Wicks has joined BoA/ML Wealth Management as a portfolio manager and will be based in London, reporting to Simon Miles. He will be managing the portfolios of ultra-high net work clients, working with the wealth structuring and advisory teams.
He joins the bank from Neos Capital, where he was a fund manager and has also previously worked at New Star Asset Management and HSBC Investment Management.
Rexiter Capital Managment
Christopher Vale has been promoted at the London-based affiliate of State Street Global Alliance to its chief executive officer, a role he will take over in January.
He is currently the firm’s chief investment officer for Asia and will succeed Rexitor founder Kenneth King as Rexiter’s CEO. Vale has previously worked at Kleinwort Benson Investment Management.
In addition, Jared Chase, a senior managing director at State Street Global Advisors, will take up the role of chairman of Rexiter.
Centaur Fund Services
Gavan McGuire has joined the alternative investment administrator as its new head of business development. McGuire, who has 13 years’ experience in fund administration, will be in charge of driving business from London and will be joining a team that includes Ronan Daly, Karen Malone and Eric Bertrand.
RBC Capital Markets
Royal Bank of Canada has added Mike Carter and Robin Mackie to its Capital Markets division via the acquisition of their boutique financial advisory firm, Loudoun Capital Partners.
Mackie and Carter will be in charge of the European financial instruments group.
Previously, they have both worked at Lehman Brothers Europe for over a decade each.
In addition, RBC Capital Markets has made six hires in its equity analysts division, increasing its coverage to nine sectors. The hires are Gordon Aitken, Olivio Peters, David Greenall, Andrew Brooke, Andrew Carter and Damian Brewer.
