Lloyds TSB Commercial Finance
The asset-based finance providers has appointed Ian Larkin as managing director, to replace the departing Simon Featherstone. Larkin will head up the business that provides a range of asset based finance facilities and complementary products. He joins from the commercial banking division of Lloyds Banking Group, and was previously managing director of Lloyds TSB’s consumer banking and lending arms.
Perella Weinberg Partners
The investment banking boutique has appointed private equity veteran Christopher O’Connor to cover the healthcare sector and named him as a partner in its corporate advisory group. Previously, he was a managing director at JPMorgan Chase & Co.
Business Growth Fund
The fund has appointed John Eggleston as IT strategy director and Jenny Chandler as human resources director. Both will sit on the BGF’s management committee and divide their time between London and Birmingham. Eggleston has held a number of senior IT jobs and Chandler has over 20 years’ HR experience.
British Chambers of Commerce
The national body has announced the appointment of John Longworth as its new director general. He is currently a non-executive director of the Co-operative Group Food and Nichols plc. He is a member of the competition commission and active in social enterprise and a Midlands-based venture capital-backed company, SVA Ltd.
Digital Barriers
The specialist provider of products and services to the homeland security and specialist defence markets, has appointed Nicholas Holgate to the board of Digital Barriers as group finance director. Holgate was previously chief financial officer of Fjordnet limited. Prior to Fjord, he was group finance director of i-level.
Royal Bank of Scotland
The bank named Alberto Gallo as senior European credit strategist. Prior to joining RBS, Gallo was a global credit strategist at Goldman Sachs.
