Tail put Aussies in charge
CRICKET: Resilient knocks from tail-enders Doug Bollinger (56no) and Tim Payne (47) handed Pakistan a daunting victory target of 440 to win the first Test at Lord’s.
The Aussies were left reeling on 208-8 at one stage before the pair took them to 334, despite Umar Gul’s 4-61. Pakistan ended the day on 114-1.
