“I’m more optimistic now than say six months ago. I work as an M&A lawyer and there have been more transactions going through. Confidence seems to be returning. I think people had grown tired of not doing any trades.”

“I’m broadly optimistic about recovery but we’ve not seen the impact of the cuts yet. I’m not sure the private sector is going to be able to pick up the slack. I don’t think we’re going to have a double dip recession though.”
