Jupiter Unit Trust Managers
Simon Somerville (left), deputy manager of the Jupiter global managed fund, will take over as manager of the £256m fund from John Chatfeild-Roberts on 14 November. Chatfeild-Roberts will become deputy manager of the fund. Somerville, who joined Jupiter in 2005 from the position of head of global equities at Cazenove, will remain lead manager of Jupiter’s Japanese funds.
Troy Asset Management
Gabrielle Boyle has been appointed as fund manager of the Trojan Capital Fund. She joins from NewSmith Capital Partners, where she was lead manager on the NewSmith Global Alpha Fund. Prior to that, she was a senior managing director at Lazard Asset Management.
AXA Investment Managers
The asset manager has appointed Madeline Forrester as head of institutional sales UK. She joins from Threadneedle, where she had direct responsibility for building the UK institutional business.
Victor
The private jetshare community has appointed business veteran Alex Sozonoff as chairman. Sozonoff spent 35 years at Hewlett-Packard, working as general manager of HP’s worldwide channel business and as senior adviser to the chief executive.
Fourth Hospitality
The pub and hotel software supplier has appointed Stuart Layzell as chief financial officer. Layzell previously worked at the Business Growth Fund, where he was responsible for new investments.
Lumison
Microsoft and Vodafone veteran Pieter Knook has joined the IT services provider as non-executive chairman. Knook rose to global senior vice president for mobile and communications at Microsoft before leading the internet services division at Vodafone.
Robin Simon
The specialist insurance law firm has appointed Neil Trayhurn as a partner in its London office. He joins from the London office of Bond Pearce.
BlackRock
The money management company hired Paul Tebbit in its UK real estate team as a director. Previously, Tebbit worked as a director for Telereal Trillium.
