Sciens
Sciens Fund of Funds Management Holdings has appointed Alex Allen as senior portfolio manager in Sciens’ fund of hedge funds business. Based in the London office, he will report to Stavros Siokos, president of the Sciens fund of hedge funds and managed account platform businesses. Prior to joining Sciens, Allen was a co-founder and chief investment officer of Eddington Capital Management, where he managed the Eddington macro opportunities fund.
JP Morgan
The bank has consolidated its debt capital markets and syndicated leveraged finance businesses into the global debt capital markets group, which has two new co-heads: Andy O’Brien and Jim Casey. They will report to Jeff Urwin and, for the risk aspects of their jobs, to Daniel Pinto. In addition, Vis Raghavan, formerly head of international capital markets, has been promoted to lead a consolidated group covering all the bank’s global equity capital markets business.
Lewis Silkin
Graham Reid has joined the City law firm as a partner in the corporate practice. He joins from Finers Stephens Innocent, where he advised on all aspects of banking law and domestic and cross-border issues for lenders, borrowers and investors.
KPMG
Alison Lambert has joined KPMG’s real estate transaction services team as a director. She joins from KPMG’s public sector group, where she advised clients on divestment and regeneration opportunities.
State Street Corporation
The financial services provider has appointed Finbarr Downing as head of compliance for State Street International Ireland. He joins from Northern Trust, where he was head of fund and regulatory compliance.

The mutual insurance, retirement and investment group has hired Jon Anderson as financial controller. Anderson was most recently chief financial officer at Barclays Corporate.
Drivers Jonas Deloitte
The property consultancy has strengthened its industrial transactions team by appointing Ed Thomason as a director and Robin Jones as an assistant director.
