England set to keep faith with Tindall
ENGLAND coach Martin Johnson is expected to again entrust Mike Tindall with the England captaincy after opting not to recall Lewis Moody to the starting line-up for Saturday’s crunch RBS 6 Nations clash against France at Twickenham.
Moody, who has only just returned after five weeks out with a knee ligament strain, may yet be named as a replacement when Martin Johnson confirms his side on tomorrow.
France coach Marc Lievremont, meanwhile, has gambled by making sweeping changes to his team.
Scrum-half Morgan Parra and centre Damien Traille are among four players dropped from the side that laboured to a 25-22 win over Ireland almost two weeks ago.
The talismanic Sebastien Chabal, wing Vincent Clerc, scrum-half Dimitri Yachvili and centre Yannick Jauzion are recalled.
