Barclays Capital is advising Misys through this deal. The team is led by London frontman Matthew Smith, a former employee of Citigroup and now head of UK M&A at BarCap. Heading the New York team are Lehman Brothers alumni Michael Carter and Erik-Jaap Molenar.
JP Morgan Cazenove’s corporate finance managing director Andrew Hodgkin and vice chairman Mark Breuer are also advising Misys.
Temenos is taking financial advice from a team at Lazard, headed by Cyrus Kapadia and Giles Corner in London. Kapadia has been at Lazard since 1997 and is now deputy head its UK investment banking department.
Lazard’s Rolf Bachmann is advising in Zurich.
Temenos also has Sumit Pandey from Morgan Stanley at hand.
