Robshaw to be captain for rest of Six Nations
ENGLAND head coach Stuart Lancaster has decided to stick with a winning formula by confirming Harlequins’ Chris Robshaw as his captain for the rest of the Six Nations.
Flanker Robshaw, handed the armband in the absence of Tom Wood, led the side to victory in Scotland on his second Test cap and followed up by beating Italy last weekend.
It comes as England chiefs take the next step in deciding whether interim boss Lancaster keeps his job.
High-profile names including Nick Mallett, John Kirwan and Eddie O’Sullivan are thought to have applied before yesterday’s deadline.
