Weinstein Co, the film studio behind Bafta boardsweepers The Artist (pictured) and The King’s Speech, is said to be looking to raise $150m (£94.7m) to support operations and pay off debt. The company has struggled financially since its 2005 birth, but is rising to success on a string of Oscar nominations. Union Bank is managing the process.
