AUDI’S NEW A2: FIRST IMAGES
These are the first official images of Audi’s new A2 model. This concept is a lightweight, plug-in electric four-seater with a 9.3-second, 0-62mph time and a top speed of 93mph. Audi claims a 124-mile range on a four hour charge. Most interesting, though, are the LED lights running down the side of the car.
ETERNITI SUV
This prototype SUV is from new British car company Eterniti Motors. Called the Hemera, Eterniti Motors claim it’s “the world’s first Super-SUV” and it will be hand-built in London and on sale in 2012. The company claims the car will have 620bhp on tap and a top speed in excess of 180mph.
VAUXHALL/OPEL GO FUTURISTIC
This is another futuristic concept that (amazingly) could one day be built. This radical-looking electric car concept “has production potential” according to Vauxhall/Opel and is aimed at urban commuters and young people. The battery-powered two-seater has a 60-mile range and is capable of 75mph.
