Palamon Capital Partners
The private equity firm has appointed Julian Carreras as a principal in its pan-European team, which comprises professionals from eight countries. The move marks a return to the company for Carreras, who previously worked at Palamon Capital Partners between 2003 and 2006, joining from Goldman Sachs. Between 2006 and 2011, Carreras held positions at Cinven in London and Thesan Capital in his home town of Madrid. He holds an MBA from Harvard Business School.
Vislink
The global technology business has appointed Andrew Sleigh and John Varney as non-executive directors and as members of the audit, remuneration and nomination committees. Sleigh is the former group technology officer of QinetiQ and Varney was previously global chief technology officer at the BBC.
Albion Ventures
The venture capital trust provider has hired Dr Christoph Ruedig to manage its investments in the healthcare sector. After qualifying as a doctor in 2002, Ruedig worked in Munich University Hospital as a radiologist before working in the healthcare divisions of Bain & Co, 3i Group and General Electric.
Experian/Logica
Experian has appointed Craig Boundy, the UK chief executive of Logica, as managing director of Experian UK & Ireland. Boundy will be replaced at Logica when he leaves at the end of the year by IBM veteran Gary Bullard, most recently general manager of global solutions at the software group.
GAM
The fund manager has appointed Matthew Lamb to lead its institutional and fund distribution business in the UK. Lamb, who joined GAM in early 2003, took over the UK intermediary distribution team in 2009.
Pinsent Masons
The law firm has hired sports lawyer Trevor Watkins as head of its sports sector. Watkins, who arrives from Clarke Willmott together with his team, is the former chairman of AFC Bournemouth.
KPMG
Stephen Bonner has joined as a partner in KPMG’s information protection and business resilience business. Bonner joins from Barclays, where he was managing director of information risk management and finance change.
Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co
Tony De Nunzio has been appointed as a senior adviser to the law firm. De Nunzio is non-executive chairman of Maxeda, Pets at Home and Alliance Boots.
