PwC
Andrew Sentance has been appointed as a senior economic adviser at PwC, following his retirement as a member of the Bank of England’s Monetary Policy Committee, effective from 7 November. Prior to serving on the MPC from October 2006 to May 2011, Sentance’s roles included director of economic affairs at the CBI, director of the Centre of Economic Forecasting at London Business School, and chief economist and head of environmental affairs at British Airways.
New West End Company
Harold Tillman, the owner of Jaeger and Aquascutum and chairman of the British Fashion Council, has been appointed as the fourteenth member of the business improvement district’s strategic board at the New West End Company’s annual general meeting.
Williams de Broë
Nathan Dosanjh has been hired as a business development executive, supporting the private bank’s Birmingham office. Dosanjh joins from Coutts & Co, where he was a private banker.
Truestone Asset Management
The wealth manager has launched a new employee benefits business, Truestone Corporate Solutions, to be led by Robert MacGregor, formerly a corporate development director at Alexander Forbes. Also joining TCS from Alexander Forbes is Tim Whiting, who will lead a new defined benefit de-risking team at TCS.
Deloitte
The business advisory firm has appointed Matt Peers as chief information officer in the newly formed internal client services leadership team. Peers joins Deloitte from The Carphone Warehouse, where he was managing director of IT.
Coutts
The private bank has appointed Mary Haly as senior investment director in the tailored portfolio services team. Haly joins Coutts from Kleinwort Benson Private Bank, where she was co-head of the London portfolio management team.
Atrium
Atrium European Real Estate has appointed David Doyle as chief financial officer, effective from 1 January 2012. Doyle will replace Robert Bolier, who is leaving the company to pursue other business interests.
Anello Asset Management
The alternative investment manager has hired Stavros Loizou to manage the company’s newly launched Mantis Program. Loizou was most recently a founder and chief executive of Lewis Charles Securities; prior to this, he was head of strategic trading at Fuji Bank.
