BT ramps up its broadband
BT yesterday said it will ramp up its superfast fibre broadband service to offer speeds of up to 300Mbps for some customers.
It also said it will double the speed of its fibre to the cabinet (FTTC) service. Openreach chief executive Liv Garfield said: “These developments will transform broadband speeds across the country.”
Communications minister Ed Vaizey said: “Improving the UK’s broadband infrastructure will help our digital industries grow and ensure the UK is an attractive place to start-up and base businesses.”
